Recognising Excellence in Dedication and Service

Following a highly successful inaugural 2023 awards, the Governor’s Chaplaincy Awards returned in September 2024 to recognise and honour those that provide these services.

In times of crisis, stress, or natural disasters, providing support to those who are unable to support themselves is not just an essential service but it is also demanding. Chaplains play a pivotal role in offering care, assistance, and support to individuals in various settings, be it at home, school, work, or within the community. Thank you for all those who supported the awards by nominating a chaplain for recognition at the Governor’s Chaplaincy Awards.

The Governor’s Chaplaincy Awards honours and recognises the significant contributions made by chaplains to Western Australia. By acknowledging and celebrating their unwavering dedication, these awards also aim to increase awareness and support for organisations and individuals dedicated to compassion, care, and service within our communities.

Let's continue to shine a light on the extraordinary dedication of chaplains throughout Western Australia.
